History was made when the Hayabusa-2 spacecraft travelled ~3.2 billion kilometres chasing down carbonaceous asteroid 162173Ryugu and returning samples back to Earth. The challenge remains in maximising information and minimising destrcution on the most lucriative extraterrestrial samples.
