Each vial contains a different amount/conentration of reactant or another solvent.Often to find the perfect conditions for an organic chemical transformation is a long and complex task. It could take dozens reactions and LOT time to get good result. It is a hard thing to prepare a compound, another hard task is to prepare it in a pure form and a harder quest is to make it on an efficient way.
